Noya John MPt. MCSP HCPC
Specialises in all neurological conditions at home and in clinic

Noya specialises in neurological rehabilitation. She has 20 years of experience working in both inpatient and outpatient neurological departments treating patients after strokes, traumatic brain injuries, and spinal cord injuries, as well as neurological diseases and pathologies such as myelopathy, Guillian Barre, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, and other neurological conditions.

In addition to her clinical role, Noya spent many years as a clinical instructor for physiotherapy students, guiding them through their neurological rehabilitation elective. She also enjoyed teaching clinical techniques and neuroanatomy to students studying for allied health undergraduate degrees.

Noya is passionate about using her years of clinical and academic experience to provide the highest level of care for her patients. She believes in taking the time to listen to what her patients need, performing an in-depth assessment, and then providing treatments that are focused on the individual patient.
She offers consultations to patients on how to maximise their functional abilities, improve gait stability, and advise on which aids may be helpful, and she consults with their families and carers on how to manage transfers and daily life activities with a disability.

Noya is also a qualified Pilates and yoga instructor, and incorporates dynamic exercise, stretching programs and home exercise programs into her treatments.
In her spare time Noya enjoys swimming and exercising in the gym, reading, walking and spending time with her family.
